Hey… So it’s been a while, huh? This is my first post since 2018!! If you’re still here from way back when and you’ve stuck around this whole time, thank you (and sorry)! And if you’re new then hello to you! It’s nice to be back. I love having this space to really let my opinion fly and connect with other readers, unfortunately sometimes life creeps up and my poor little blog gets neglected, it happens to the best of us!
If you have a look around (please do!) you’ll notice a few new additions to my blog, while it’s still primarily a book blog I will also be posting about some lifestyle things. Right now I’m trying to reduce the amount of single-use plastic I’m using, attempting to grow some plants and make my home a little greener, plus I’d love to share some Bullet Journal ideas with you and other bits and pieces. I hope you’ll like the additions and will stick around.
I’m kicking off my re-entrance to blogging with an easy yet important post. It’s been so long since I shared anything with you that I figured this is the best kind of post to start with. It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Kathryn @ Book Date. It’s a weekly meme where we share what books we read last week, what we’re currently reading and what book is up next.
What I read last week:
(Technically last month but shh, I didn’t finish anything last week!)
What I’m reading now:
What’s up next:
(I’m pretty sure I’ll still be reading half of my current reads next week but…)
And there we have it. I’m especially excited to read Riot Baby, covering important topics such as racism and police brutality in America it’s a short book at just over 170 pages, but it has great reviews that express how much of a punch the book packs in those pages.
Have you read any of these? Let me know what you thought (no spoilers please)!
