Hello friends, its Tuesday so you all know what that means! TTT! This week we’re talking about the longest books we’ve read, I had to use my Goodreads book stats to help me out with this post because I really didn’t fancy going through all my books to check how many pages they had. A couple I’ve added in because they took a hell of a long time to actually get through!
The Final Empire – Brandon Sanderson
So, The Final Empire apparently only has 647 pages but honestly it felt like a million. I actually really loved this book but it just felt like it took so long to make it to the end? Even though I wasn’t bored… Maybe because it was a buddy read and I always feel like I can’t go too far ahead of my buddy.
The Well of Ascension – Brandon Sanderson
The second book in the Misborn series, also a buddy read, also felt like it took my entire lifetime to finish. Also loved this book. This book has 781 pages!
Outlander – Dianna Gabaldon
So Outlander the TV show, I absolutely adored, couldn’t get enough and binge watched everything I could get my hands on. The book was alright, I enjoyed it as I love Jamie and Clare, but honestly it was so long. 850 pages.
Winter – Marissa Meyer
I love the Lunar Chronicles, but I have to admit this may be my least favourite one? It’s been a while since I’ve read the books but I just remember liking the others more, but I still enjoyed this whopping 827 page book.
As you can see I don’t really read a lot of huge books, most tend to be around the 300 – 500 mark. I have loads of big books on my TBR shelf an they’re still there for that exact reason, I feel like picking up a big book is a lot of commitment and I have to be in the right mood for that kind of commitment! I think possibly the biggest book I currently own is my ARC of The Priory of the Orange Tree, that’s a whopping 825 pages, and that’s just the ARC!
What’s the biggest book you’ve read?
