Yearly TBR | 2018

Hey guys!

I’ve decided that I’ll be doing a yearly TBR for 2018, I got the idea from Berries & Books, I saw her 2017 yearly TBR update and thought it was an awesome idea, like me she’s a mood reader and monthly TBR’s don’t work for her, so I thought why not give this yearly TBR a shot? Who knows, maybe I’ve just found a TBR system that will work for me too!

Next year I’m hoping to read 60 books, I honestly don’t think that’s too many and believe it’s achievable, I set myself the same target this year and missed it by two books! So I think I’ve got this, now I just need to select the books I really want to read this year, (don’t worry, I’m not going to pick out 60 books and make you read through the list, I’m not that evil *laughs menacingly*).

A Reaper at the Gates – Sabaa Tahir

Batman: Nightwalker – Marie Lu

Catwoman: Soulstealer – Sarah J Maas

Morning Star – Pierce Brown

Iron Gold – Pierce Brown

Gemina – Aime Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

Obsidio – Aime Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

Godsgrave – Jay Kristoff

Tower of Dawn – Sarah J Maas

Crooked Kingdom – Leigh Bardugo

Legendary – Stephanie Garber

Daughter of the Siren Queen – Tricia Levenseller

Retribution Rails Erin Bowman

Scythe – Neal Shusterman

Royal Bastards – Andrew Shvarts

Crash Into Pieces – Christopher Kerns

Avenged – Amy Tintera

Allied – Amy Tintera

Everless – Sara Holland

Vicious – V. E. Schwab

Spellslinger – Sebastien de Castell

The Hero of Ages – Brandon Sanderson

The Hate U Give – Angie Thomas

Hope and Red – Jon Skovron

Traitor To the Throne – Alwyn Hamilton

Whew, okay, that was a lot more than I planned to have on this list, I kept adding books as I was going through my Goodreads! Also, I’ve noticed I’ve picked a lot of new books that are being released in 2018, rather than books I already own… This is going to hugely screw with my 2018 Reading/Blogging Goals but I’m so excited for so many of these books!! I plan to have a catch up post after the first six months of the year to see how I’m doing with the yearly TBR, but I’m really liking what I have so far!

Have I missed any important new releases from my list? Are there any on here that you plan to read in 2018 too and if so, are you up for a Buddy Read? 😀

  1. I made a yearly tbr last year by going through all of my tbr and picking the ones I most wanted to read. There were fifty. I delete them as I went along and by the end if the year I still had 38 unread on it! Haha. It’s a good idea to make a small list I think. Good luck!
